New Grouparchitect team members

We’d like to welcome and introduce our two newest additions to our design team at Grouparchitect.

Mike Kutsin LEED AP
Mike is a seasoned architectural professional with over 14 years of experience in the US and most recently 1.5 years in British Columbia. Besides being a profession, architecture has been for Mike a stimulating life experience in which a successful completed project brings satisfaction to the client and excitement to the design team. Mike has relocated with his family to Seattle in 1993 from the city of Nizhniy Novgorod, Russia where he had graduated with Masters of Architecture. Mike has helped design and document a variety of projects, including mid-rise and high-rise structures in several municipalities such as Seattle, Portland, Los Angeles, San Diego and, most recently, Richmond, British Columbia. In the spare time, Mike enjoys a good game of chess, making a dinner for his family and friends, a day trip to various Pacific Northwest locales or day on the town.

Alexandra Lara
Alexandra was born into a very artistic family, but her main interest in architecture was fueled by the psychology behind it. Learning why certain spaces can make one person feel at ease but another anxious is fascinating to her. Growing up in New Jersey, Cornell University in Ithaca, NY was her college of choice. It allowed her to reside on the East coast, but was isolated enough to let her focus on her studies. Life in Ithaca also proved to be invaluable in learning to love life in a predominately damp climate. When not in the office, Alex enjoys obsessing over her dachshund Thor, and eating out as frequently as possible with her husband, Sam. Alex also loves any excuse to dress up in a costume, especially her pirate costume.
