About the Tour
The Northwest Green Home Tour is an annual educational event, open to the public, produced by the Northwest EcoBuilding Guild, that showcases local, sustainable, and green new homes, remodels, and energy retrofits in the greater Seattle area. The 2014 tour, which took place on April 26, included 35 sites and 12 Sustainability Stops, sponsored by members of the Northwest EcoBuilding Guild and Built Green. The 2015 tour will be a two-day event, taking place on April 25 and 26.

The Phinney Ridge pre-fab home has seen a lot of changes over the past 2 months. The Phinney Ridge Prefab House is a prefabricated modular home designed by Grouparchitect and built by Method Homes, the modular contractor, and Heartwood Builders, the site contractor. The Home was built offsite in modules that were shipped and assembled onsite in one day for this tight urban lot. This home features sustainable building materials and practices as well as a rooftop deck.
