Alexandra Lara AIA Project Architect
Alexandra was born into a very artistic family, but her main interest in architecture was fueled by the psychology behind it. Learning why certain spaces can make one person feel at ease but another anxious is fascinating to her. Growing up in New Jersey, Cornell University in Ithaca, NY was her college of choice. It allowed her to reside on the East coast, but was isolated enough to let her focus on her studies. Life in Ithaca also proved to be invaluable in learning to love life in a predominately damp climate. When not in the office, Alex enjoys obsessing over her dachshund Thor, and eating out as frequently as possible with her husband, Sam.
