A kitchen remodel to a 60s split level home. Without increasing the floor area of the kitchen, a new layout was introduced to greatly improve the amount of counter space and storage. In order to connect the kitchen the rest of the living and entertaining spaces, two walls separating the kitchen from the rest of the home were removed and a low dropped ceiling was raised to vault the ceiling to match the rest of the home.
