Sean spent his childhood on the east coast exploring the outdoors with friends, and visiting family in Boston each summer. Once he realized that his interests lied in the connection between the natural and the manmade, Sean decided to enroll in architecture school at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and The Georgia Institute of Technology. From there he developed an interest in ecological design, drawing him to the Pacific Northwest.
Since moving to Seattle, Sean has spent time working in custom residential design, focusing on furniture design and fabrication. With an increasing passion for craft and materials, he’s interested in the way that minute details relate to and reinforce the larger composition.
