This office building in Issaquah, Washington is the new corporate headquarters for Trans-Net Inc. The building features large sunshades for controlling solar gain while incorporating large glazing areas for maximizing daylight for the building’s office interiors. Other sustainable features include raingardens for stormwater control on site and an enclosed parking garage within the building to reduce pollution-generating surfaces on site. Inside the offices, reclaimed tree slabs were utilized for desks to complement the exposed wood trim used throughout Transnet’s offices.
