The Mercantile

Bothell, WA

Located in the heart of downtown Bothell at the corner of 102nd & Main, The Mercantile is a six-story multifamily apartment building blending the old with new. Originally the site of the Co-operative Mercantile Company’s first building, ca 1908, the new structure preserves the site’s history as well as the existing brick façades by incorporating them into the new design. The existing façade features a new exterior mural to recall the original building aesthetics as well as housing the building’s entry lobby and several loft residential units with private patios. Along Main Street, a large public courtyard spans the entire frontage up to the existing Mercantile building façade. The site is immediately adjacent to a King County Metro Park and Ride to facilitate access to public transportation. Residential tenants can enjoy a rooftop deck and amenity lounge as well as apartments outfitted with the newest energy star appliances throughout, and modern interior finishes.
