A second story addition to a 1900s era craftsman home in Seattle’s Wallingford neighborhood. The addition will span over the existing home to keep the original box beam wood ceiling and historic detailing of the interior intact. Numerous remodels to the home over the years will be modified to try and return the home to its original character while still providing additional floor area for new bedrooms that the owners require for their family.
