The existing single-family residence is located near Crystal Mountain and White Pass ski resorts, making it a prime destination for outdoor recreation all year round. The client sought to expand the small two-bedroom, one-bathroom cabin to make it more family- and entertainment-friendly to support their social and outdoor lifestyle. The existing cabin was expanded to add two more bedrooms and bathrooms while renovating existing spaces with modern finishes and an expanded kitchen. A large mudroom was also included to provide an interior buffer space between the wet outdoors and the warm interior spaces.
