Kai-Li House

Mossyrock, WA

This proposed home in Mossyrock, Washington consists of a three level five bedroom home with a detached garage and guest quarters. The structural walls, designed on a panelized layout, are to be precast concrete panels with internal insulation allowing for exposed concrete finishes on both the interior and exterior. While designed with passive solar elements such as locating most of the glazing orientated to the south with a large roof overhang, a radiant hydronic in slab heat system will be installed throughout the home. The large amount of thermal mass, including both concrete walls and floors are provided to moderate the internal temperature throughout the day year round.
