Milpitas, CA
This two-bedroom, two-bathroom detached accessory dwelling unit was designed for a family of three that plans to live in the DADU and rent out their main residence onsite. The form took a unique shape to fit within an angular lot configuration to provide maximum separation between the two structures. The DADU takes form as a butterfly roof with vaulted ceilings in both the primary living space and the bedroom wing.
