VIP Pavilion – UIM Aquabike Endurance Championships

Vladivostok and other locations, Russian Federation

This pavilion structure to house VIP guests and UIM event officials was proposed as a temporary building to transport the pavilion among the multiple locations of the annual aquabike championship. The proposed building is constructed out of shipping containers which initially would be used to transport the pavilion’s parts and then become the enclosed and heated sections of the pavilion itself. The pavilion features conditioned spaces for race officials and crew, an elevated platform for viewing, and a large covered pavilion for events and race competitor briefings and ceremonies. PTAC-style air conditioning units provide the HVAC needs due to the separate containers and the need for frequent disassembly.
