This modest kitchen remodel focused on maximum spatial improvements while limiting overall demolition and moving appliance locations. The existing kitchen and dining nook were combined into one large entertaining space by expanding cabinetry and adding an island. Demolishing the wall separating these rooms from the living room to create a great room was the finishing touch. Ikea cabinets were initially selected but custom cabinetry detailing was implemented to achieve a built-in appearance to meet the client’s requirements.
