SEATTLE, WA
Grouparchitect has been retained to assist in a multi-phased renovation of the Xi Deuteron Charge of Theta Delta Chi at the University of Washington. The first phase consists primarily of envelope work including replacement of roofing, siding, railings and windows in addition to new thermal insulation and voluntary seismic upgrades. The existing building consists of an original historic house built in 1916 in the Dutch Colonial Revival architecture style with subsequent modern wing additions added in the 1950s and 1960s. Phase One renovations will integrate the additions in a more cohesive architectural style while using modern durable materials.
