This remodel / expansion to an existing home almost doubled its petite size. The existing home was modest at two bedrooms and limited living area, so the design response correspondingly sought to provide “room to spread out”. The kitchen was remodeled and expanded to flow into the new family room and dining area which now overlook the intimate rear yard. Upstairs, the previous bedroom became a den and laundry room which now lead to a new master suite with soaring ceilings.
