Capitol Hill Remodel – Construction Update
Improvements include updating and repairing the exterior with a new modern façade with durable materials over a rainscreen system, enclosing a covered porch, window and door replacements, a new kitchen and updated finishes and fixtures in the home’s bathroom.
The construction team has been proficiently working through the summer to complete the exterior work before the rain rolls in. The demo process went quickly and the siding and sheathing is beginning to be applied. All the windows have been upgraded to Milgard-Styleline Vinyl. The large windows provide a beautiful view to the Washington Park Arboretum.
This remodel maximizes the natural lighting and views in Capitol Hill. The upstairs bathroom will be completely refashioned with modern finishes and a shower window as a special feature. The opening is on the second level above any neighboring houses.
