Trans-NET corporate office

Express Construction Company, Inc. of Bellevue is ready to begin construction of a new corporate headquarters for Trans-NET, Inc. Trans-NET is a full service transportation and logistics provider.
Located in downtown Issaquah at 710 5th Avenue NW, the project will commence with the demolition of a vacant single story residence. “This is an exciting project to be a part of,” said John Engel, senior project manager for Express Construction. “The new Trans-NET corporate headquarters will be a positive addition to Issaquah’s downtown core.”
The 12,200 square foot building was designed by Brian Palidar with Grouparchitect in Seattle. The building is 3-stories including ground level covered parking and utilizes 49.9% of the extremely tight urban site. The wood framed structure features box rib metal and colored HardiPanel siding as well as large sunshades for controlling solar gain while incorporating large glazing areas for maximizing daylight for the buildings office interiors. Other sustainable features include rain gardens for stormwater control on site and an enclosed parking garage within the building to reduce pollution-generating surfaces on site. In addition, special attention was placed on re-utilizing the mature trees and shrubbery located on the heavily landscaped site.
Trans-NET, Inc. will occupy the entire second floor and lease out the 4,035 square foot third floor. Leasing inquires can be made with Brian Toy of Cushman Wakefield at (425) 201-1224.
