Located in Santa Cruz, California, this Option Series prefabricated modular home was customized to meet the needs of the homeowners and their unique site. While the site itself was quite large, the buildable area was quite limited due to steep slopes and required tree preservation areas. The home was nested into the hillside creating a daylight basement for a site-built garage and lower level upon which the four module, two-level home is placed. A few highlights of the design modifications include creating a large entry foyer, a kid’s playroom, a lower-level guest quarters suite for extended family and large decks including a roof deck off the master suite.
