Capitol Hill Apartments
Grouparchitect is working with Rudd Development to build a new 34 unit apartment complex in Capitol Hill near Capitol Hill Family Health Clinic. The eclectic neighborhood is rich with low rise residential buildings; and the design of the Capitol Hill Apartments reflects the density, diversity and ambiance of the neighborhood.
Construction began in September with the demolition of the existing building. Customary with the developer’s traditions, a ground breaking ceremony accompanied the demolition.
Excavation and shoring quickly ensued. This was the start to laying the foundation but first the footing forms needed to be installed. Concrete will be poured upon completion of the forms for the footings.
