The progress thus far during the month November at the LIV Apartments job site shows progress on all avenues.  The North Building topped out last month so efforts have now shifted to waterproofing.  The white TPO roofing membrane has been added and work is now focused on waterproofing exterior openings such as windows and doors. October at the LIV Apartments was a busy month.  The most notable progress on site over the last month would probably be the framing of the North Building, which topped out at its highest point.  This signals the completion of the framing for phase 1 of the project.  The roof and waterproofing will soon follow in an effort to minimize the exposure to the moist fall weather. As progress at the Phinney Ridge Prefab project site continues since the demolition of the existing home, ongoing efforts on the home continues at the Method Homes factory in Ferndale, WA. Prefabrication of this home allows for a significantly reduced construction schedule, and also helps considerably for projects that are to be constructed in the wet fall and winter months of Seattle. September at the LIV Apartments was a busy month.  Trades worked on all aspects of the project from exterior cladding detailing and painting to interior gypsum board and work on unit interiors.  At the West Building, the gateway feature wall takes shape as the composite wood panels are installed and frame the western entrance to the site from Bel-Red Road. Phinney Ridge Prefab – Demo

The excavator is in the process of demolition of the existing home at the site of the new Phinney Ridge Prefab home project being careful for the neighboring homes and fences. TDX Renovation – September Update

The Theta Delta Chi renovation at the University of Washington continues as work on the roof, cladding, and window replacement progresses.  Additional structural members were required to take the load where the aging trusses have rotted and can no longer perform to their structural rating.  On top of the new roof structure, an almost completely new plywood deck is installed.
