The month of September brought progress across all areas of the LIV Apartments in Bellevue.  The South Building roof has been installed and progress continues on the window and exterior siding installation.  Interior plumbing and electrical rough in proceed in conjunction to maximize the potential of scheduling trades. The month of August brought advances to several areas of construction at the LIV Apartments in Bellevue.  Framing across the site continues upward as crews race to beat the oncoming fall weather. The renovation of Theta Delta Chi at the University of Washington is well underway as work continues on the roof and portico of this historic building.  The rotten wood shown in the previous post has been removed and new framing and decking serve as a solid base for the waterproofing to soon be installed. Progress on the Laurelhurst Residence Wine Room progressed quickly once the framing was completed.  Carpenters fabricated several wine racks designed to fit into the various niches and nooks that resulted from tucking the wine room into a difficult corner of the home.  The raw wood of the racks compliment the natural slate floor, and when coupled with the paint, the room has a warm comfortable character. The efforts for completing the Clyde Hill Residence renovation have shifted to the interior during the month of July as painting, staining, and finishing details are completed.
