The Mercantile – Construction Progress – May 2016

The Level 3 post-tension slab is being laid out this week.  The back of the structure is beginning to emerge above ground.The supporting deck is assembled with some shoring along the edges.The concrete walls’ framework and shoring is occupying majority of floor space on site.  The image on the left displays where the new construction meets the old.  A concrete wall will be poured in alignment with the existing masonry wall.Keep updated with the Mercantile project by clicking here....

The Mercantile – Construction Progress – April 2016

The slab on grade is complete on the Mercantile site, located in Bothell.  The concrete columns are erected at the ground level.  Soon after, the level 2 deck was prepped for a concrete pour.The forms were constructed and lined with reinforced bars and ties, as illustrated in the image below.  The formwork for the concrete pour is completely sealed to prevent any leaks or blowouts as the concrete cures. Capitol Hill Remodel – Completion

A remodel to a home on the east side of Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood overlooking the Washington Park Arboretum.  Improvements include updating and repairing the exterior with a new modern façade with durable materials over a rainscreen system, enclosing a covered porch, window and door replacements, a new kitchen and updated finishes and fixtures in the home’s bathrooms.Click here to view more details about the project....
